New Job for Shelley

I started a new job today. We are both very excited. The new job is very close the new house, about 8 miles away! We are still playing the waiting game on the house though. They have started bricking and the inside is coming along well. We are hoping it will be done and we will be in the end of August. I will be up loading some pictures soon.

Broken Nose Again / Memorial Day

Our completely accident prone daughter broke her nose AGAIN! The second time in 6 months. Both times she has had to have surgery to reset it. Scary stuff. She broke her arm a year ago and had to have surgery to reset it as well. All of these surgeries are going to give me gray hair! This time she broke it when at Jelly Stone Park when her friend went down the water slide and Skyler went too soon after her and at the bottom they smacked heads and blood went every where. As soon as I looked at her nose I said "NOT AGAIN". Poor baby!

We went to Matagorda Bay camping for Memorial weekend. We played at the beach, crabbed, and fished. Madison loved the beach, she is our little sand and dirt loving baby. She didn't care much for the water after a wave came up while she was sitting on the beach and knocked her over. After all the warnings about the crabs Skyler must have thought she was invincible and decided to pick up a small sand crab. Lets just say, she won't be picking up any more crabs anytime soon. No boo-boo just a lot of tears. She made us let all the crabs go after that! Here are some pictures.

Skyler's Pre-K Graduation

Skyler's graduation from Pre-K was so cute. It was held at Ellisor Elementary, they wore caps and gowns that they made in class. There was one part where they wore sun glasses while they sang a song, I laughed so hard I cried. As a kid we never understood why our parents made such a big deal about these things but I now understand completely. These moments are the moments parents live for! It was kind of hard getting pictures from so far back and fighting for a spot behind all of the other cameras and video cameras. It seemed liked there were few parents who weren't looking through some sort of lens. This ceremony really made me realize that she will soon be started Kindergarten and my baby is growing up. Why can't they stay small forever???

New House

We are excited to announce that we are in the process of building a new house! Once we signed to start building we placed our house in Montgomery on the market. Well, lets just say it went much faster then we had expected. We had an offer in 32 days and they wanted to close in 2 weeks from the offer day! Crazy I know! We sold it and are now living with Shelley's parents. The house is expected to be done in August and we are very anxious. Here is the house as it is now.
