Cozumel Cruise 2009 and Schuyler's 35th birthday

We just got back from an awesome cruise with some awesome friends. There were about 25 or sp of us and we had a blast. The cruise worked out perfect for when you wanted alone time and then when you wanted together time. Schuyler had a great 35th birthday in Cozumel. All of the photos are straight out of camera.....the colors were not altered at all. (when you see the water you will know why I am mentioning this)

Ok this next one is what happens when you husband has the camera and you have just come back to the room (about 4am) after drinking way to much and laughing at the stupid things you and your girl friends just did. Good times! :o)

Did you know???

Did you know that sharing a bag of Apple Jacks while sitting on a picnic table with your sister can melt your momma's heart?

Did you know that getting two little girls and one dog to all look at the camera and smile is not as easy as I once thought. Did you know that it IS possible?

Did you know that hanging your head out a window and letting your ears/hair blow in the wind is not just for dogs?

Did you know that when you let a 6 year old draw a huge "S" with sidewalk chalk on your back patio, she ends up covered in more chalk than the patio? (example on elbow) Did you know that even though she was covered in chalk she can still give a million dollar smile to mommy?

Did you know that this amazing 3 year old is a ham for the camera when she wants to be?

Did you know that little girls make good silverware putter-uppers?

Did you know that laying in the grass playing with a stick makes for a perfect photo-op?

Did you know that I think both my daughters are so stinking pretty and that I have no idea how or when that happen? Did you know that if they keep this up, mommy and daddy are in for big trouble when they are teenagers?

Did you know that sun at your daughter's back makes her glow?

Did you know that trying to use sidwalk chalk on the road is hard and makes for some VERY dirty feet and bottoms?

Did you know that two little sisters who seem to fight so much can love each other more than anything else in this world?

Super Saturday & Special Sunday

We had a Super Saturday and a Special Sunday!

Saturday was very eventful and delightful. It started off with me off to a photo shoot with Skyler in tow and Schuyler off to pick up our NEW BOAT with Madison in tow. WOOOHOOOO! It is a used boat but was very wel taken care of by previous owners. And we are so excited to have another boat since selling the last one. I came home long enough to see Schuyler pull in the driveway with the boat, then was back to the photo shoot.

Around 2:00 I came home to a pool party that Tonya (my neighbor) and I were hosting for our daughters and their friends. A pool full of giggly silly girls! :o)

Skyler and Hannah are such good friends. Hannah was in Skyler's class this past year and she lives in our neighborhood.

Then we had a Special Sunday. It started off with us loading the new boat around 6:30 am for our first trip in the boat. It just so happen that I had a photo shoot for a lovely family that morning that was planned in the same area as we were headed. Long story short we had a disastrous photo shoot that ended abruptly after only 10 pictures. Hopefully we will be able to retake them soon. Here is one decent shot of that family.

Skyler and Madison LOVED the tube. They were both a lot more daring than last summer. Geez...Madison is 3 and would run and jump in that tube with no worries. Such my little brave fearless girl.

This next one just makes me giggle. Look at me and the girls....we are loving life. I love it! :o)
